Fall in Love with Your Ford
February often invokes thoughts of Valentine’s Day, cards, gifts, candy, and most importantly, falling in love. Finnin Ford wants you to fall in love… with your Ford. Ford’s full lineup of vehicles offers something for everyone. Innovative tech enhancements, convenient mobile apps, and industry-leading safety features are just a few of the things Ford consistently offers drivers, and we’re confident we can help find the right match for you.
The 2018 Explorer, for example, offers a perfect paring of functionality and technology in an SUV. With an available 4G embedded modem that includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, your Explorer can support as many as 10 devices at once, up to 50 feet away from the vehicle! This vehicle, along with many others in the Ford lineup, features SYNC Connect, which allows owners to connect to their vehicle remotely using the FordPass app. Owners can start, lock, unlock, and locate their vehicle from almost anywhere- while also accessing important vehicle diagnostic information.
According to a press release from Ford Motor Company on the 2018 Explorer, “…This technology joins such existing features as enhanced active park assist, which uses ultrasonic sensors and electric power-assisted steering to help drivers with parallel and perpendicular parking; park-out assist, which helps drivers pull out of parallel parking spots; and intelligent all-wheel drive with Terrain Management System™, which enables improved driving capability by sending power where needed”.
For 2018, the Explorer as well as many other 2018 models also offers a newly available Safe and Smart Package that includes:
Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning with Brake Support – which uses radar to detect moving vehicles directly ahead, and changes cruising speed if necessary
Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert which helps alert drivers to vehicles detected in blind spots, and approaching from the sides, when backing out of a parking spot or driveway
Lane-keeping System automatically detects road lane markings using a front-mounted camera system. Vibration in the steering wheel alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane, day or night. The system can also provide steering torque to help guide the vehicle back into the lane if needed
Auto high-beams use cameras to automatically switch between high-beam and low-beam settings when oncoming traffic is detected, low-light situations, or even when windshield wipers are detected.
Ford knows you need convenience, safety, and functionality in a vehicle that compliments and enhances your everyday life. Find your match. Fall in love with your Ford.
